It is great to see students coming back to school ready to take learning to the next level. This week in EAL we were excited to talk about our holidays. Students were very excited to share their stories, we started off with simple questions like “ Do you like holidays? Why?” How do you prepare for your holidays?” What are your favourite holiday activities?” Our focus was to use the tricky word “ Because” and time words to describe ideas.
EAL students were pre-assessed on their phonics and were sent to differentiated stations to observe the next step of our learning.
