This week in Year 3 & 4 the students took part in many exciting activities. We continued our work in our Unit of Inquiry on the Body Systems. This week's focus was on the Skeletal System. The student put together a Skeleton and labelled the different bones that make up this system. These will be on display both in the classroom and outside of our classroom.

In Maths the students continued their work in their Maths Stations. These stations each had a different concept of focus. Each station focused on (Fractions, Arrays, Problem Solving, Maths About Me and Feelings of Maths). Furthermore, the students also began learning about Place Value this week. The students were grouped into the Purple, Green and Blue group to take part in different exercises on Place Value. This concept will be carried into next week's Maths Sessions as well.

In English class the students began creating statements and questions using their Spelling Words and Words of the Week. During writing class the students continued to make predictions about the story "Harry and the Lady Next Door" by Gene Zion. Samples of the student's writing can be found in their English Journals.
