In Maths this week the students have been learning and practicing their multiplication, division and place value skills in their groups. In order to continue to build each student's multiplication and division skills Ms. PJ, Ms. Emmi and I are asking parents if they can help to reinforce these skills at home with their child. Just a few extra minutes of practice each night will greatly help our Year 3/4 students build their retention skills. Next week the students will continue to practice their multiplication and division facts for the first few minutes of each Maths period before moving on to the concept for the week. They will be learning about fractions and how to add fractions.

In UOI class the students have worked on the Respiratory System this week. They have learned about the main parts of the body that allow us to breathe normally. Students have learned about some of the negative effects that smoking can have on the Respiratory System. Beginning next week the students will begin presenting their Google Slides presentations to the class to show what they have learned about each body system from their research over the course of the past 7 weeks.

In English class we continued our work on Phonics and Adjectives. The students wrote stories about different topics in which they had to identify all of the adjectives that they have used in their story. The students also began to build their skills in rhyming words and letter sounds.
Our Year 3/4 Field Trip was a great success. The students enjoyed themselves immensely during the this trip and had the opportunity to see practical examples of what they have been learning about over the course of this UOI unit. Our class would like to thank Denta-Joy Clinic and 9D Sports Hotel for all of their support and for allowing us to learn and gain additional knowledge about our UOI through this field trip experience. The students also had the opportunity on this field trip to meet one of Thailand's Basketball players from the Thai National Team. I would also like to thank Ms. Khetsinee Aramrueng ( Khun Nuch) for all of her help throughout this field trip.

This week in EAL Year ¾ practiced their Jolly Phonics and we stressed on the SH digraph and followed with different activities around it like Listening to the words that start or ends with SH sound, blending words with letter blocks, build words, spell words, connect to reading and build fluency.
