In English class this week the students have been working on writing reflections and creating a Student Led Conference packet that will be used when meeting their parents on April 2nd. In this packet the students have listed skills that they are proud of and skills that they feel they still need to improve upon.
In Maths class the students have been learning how to solve for the sum of different styles of problem solving equations. The students have also worked in groups to create their own problem solving equations to share with the class. We have linked these equations to our UOI by asking how much rubbish they would create after a certain amount of time or how tall their tomato plants will grow in they are growing at a certain pace.
In UOI class the students have continued to build their dioramas and work on their slideshows. They are making good progress and these will be on display during the Student Led Conferences. The students will also share their work with other classes when we invite them to visit our classroom within the next two weeks.
