Week 13 Term 2

It has been a wonderful week of learning. I hope you all have a great holiday! I also hope that we can all be in class next week. 

English: 

This week we spent some more time working with paragraphs. Students constructed paragraph puzzles and wrote their own paragraphs based upon prompts.

Maths:

 In math class students have been learning how to plot coordinates on a coordinate plane. This is useful information because it sets the foundation for algebra when our learners get older. Coordinate planes allow us to describe algebraic relationships in a visual sense, and also helps us create and interpret algebraic concepts. We had fun this week using coordinate planes with maps. All of these activities integrated well with the UOI map project this week. Nice work learners!
